An Employer of Record (EoR) is the statutory employer for workers in India. Your company manages work outcomes; Varimo signs employment agreements, runs monthly payrun, remits EPF and ESIC, deducts TDS, files professional tax per employee work location, and keeps audit trails for attendance and leave.
Under the Payment of Wages Act, salary is typically due by the 7th (under 1,000 employees) or 10th (1,000 or more) of the month. PF and ESI ECR are commonly due by the 15th. Varimo's agentic pipeline surfaces these deadlines before penalties accrue.
